MILLS REGRETS WORKING AWAY FROM HOME

Veteran British actress HAYLEY MILLS regrets not spending more time away from her career to look after her sons. The 60-year-old, daughter of the late SIR JOHN MILLS, has two sons from different relationships, KULA SHAKER frontman CRISPIAN MILLS, 34, and JASON 'ACE' LAWSON, 30. And although THE PARENT TRAP actress is proud of how both sons have turned out, she wishes she had been at home more in their formative years. She says, "I have suffered from being torn between my work and my private life. "There have been times when I think I've short-changed the relationships I've had with the people in my life, including my two boys because of work. I wish, in hindsight, I had taken time out from acting and pursued other interests. "I'm sure that I would have come back to acting but I would have liked a break. However, I carried on."
