MILLS' PUBLICIST SLAMS 'LYING' TV SHOW

HEATHER MILLS' new publicist MICHELE ELYZABETH has lashed out at presenters of hit U.S. chatshow THE VIEW for criticising her client - calling the presenters "liars". Elyzabeth launched an angry tirade on her own website, condemning TV presenters including Whoopie Goldberg, Joy Behar and Barbara Walters for their treatment of the former model - insisting that Mills is a "wonderful person", reports the New York Post's gossip column PageSix. The estranged wife of Sir Paul MCCartney hired Elyzabeth, a Los Angeles-based French public relations manager, after her former spokesman Phil Hall quit following Mills' explosive interviews on U.K. and U.S. TV earlier this month (Nov07). But Mills' outbursts attracted scathing criticism on The View from Walters in particular - and she has since revealed she is the cousin of MCCartney's new love interest, New York socialist Nancy Shevell. In a video blog posted on her website, Elyzabeth says, "I represent Heather Mills, the most spoken-about person all over the place. I'm sick and tired about hearing these lies. "Heather is a wonderful person...People trash her. This week I got upset with Barbara Walters and people on The View who have decided to trash Heather for the third time...And this horrible human being by the name of Joy Behar ragging on Heather, that she is the worst person you want to meet in the world. (And) Whoopie decided Heather should not be speaking. It went on for 10 to 15 minutes."
