Heather Mills - Mills Plans To Flee To U.S. With Divorce Money

HEATHER MILLS' father fears his daughter will flee abroad once she receives her divorce settlement from SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY - because the British public hate her. The former couple began the battle over their financial settlement at London's High Court on Monday (11Feb08), where ex-glamour model Mills is representing herself in her fight for a share of the singer's estimated $1.65 billion (GBP825 million) personal fortune. And Mark Mills insists the 40-year-old now feels so uncomfortable in her native Britain that she will take her alimony money and flee the country with her and MCCartney's four-year-old daughter Beatrice. He says, "She knows everybody hates her here and she does not care. But I think she's very low at the moment and would leap at the chance to get away from it all and take Bea with her. "I think she'll go abroad, possibly to France or the United States. She likes them both. Then she'll just slowly fade away into obscurity." Mills launched a bitter tirade against the British press in a TV interview in October (07) accusing them of turning the public against after a series of 'hate campaigns'. MCCartney and Mills split in May 2006 after four years of marriage.
