MILLER STUNNED BY MENTOR PAUL'S TRIBUTE

Rocker STEVE MILLER was left fighting back tears at Wednesday night's (09Apr08) ASCAP Pop Music Awards during a tribute to him from his mentor, guitar legend LES PAUL.
The ailing Paul sent a special video message to the organisers of the Kodak Theatre ceremony in Hollywood, to congratulate Miller on his Golden Note Award.
The guitar great recalled giving the young Miller music lessons and mentoring him through his career.
Miller followed the tribute by performing with The Steve Miller Band.
