MILLER JOINS BACHCHAN FOR GLOBAL WARMING CRUSADE

British actress SIENNA MILLER has teamed up with Bollywood icon AMITABH BACHCHAN to urge Indians to go green. The Alfie star met Bachchan in Mumbai on Tuesday (17Jul07) at the start of a week-long trip to India as an ambassador for Global Cool. She says, "If each one of us does our bit, we will be helping to keep global warming from harming our countries." Bachchan had previously announced the Indian International Film Academy, of which he's a leading member, will partner with Global Cool, an organisation that spreads awareness about global warming. At a press conference on Tuesday, he said, "Carbon emissions will be huge from countries like India and China with growing populations and economy. "It will be wise to start doing whatever we can to protect our planet."
