MILLER 'DISAPPOINTED' BY ROBIN HOOD SNUB

British actress SIENNA MILLER was "disappointed" to have been dropped from RUSSELL CROWE's new ROBIN HOOD movie - but insists her replacement CATE BLANCHETT was a much better choice.
The star was originally signed on to play Maid Marian, but she mysteriously left the project last year (08) amid rumours she had been dropped because she was considered too young to play 45 year old Crowe's love interest.
The 27 year old admits that although she was looking forward to starring in the epic movie, she accepts that Blanchett, 40, is much better suited to the part.
She says, "If I had to make a choice between myself and Cate, then I'd choose her as well. Of course I was disappointed, but I am also big enough to know these things happen all the time in the film industry - it's just that when they happen to me it's news."
