Miley Cyrus refuses to think about the future.

The 17-year-old singer says she takes each day as it comes and although she has a tough work schedule, she won't let her personal life be so organised.

She said: "I don't really look too far into the future and it drives people nuts. I don't even like a feeling that I have to be somewhere at a certain time. I do that enough with my job so when it's my free time, I don't know what's going to happen or who I'm going to hang out with. Tomorrow will come and I'll figure it out then."

Although she won't plan her personal life, Miley - who is dating her 'Last Song' co-star Liam Hemsworth - has high ambitions for her career.

She said: "I definitely want to continue acting and singing and doing a little edgier kind of work. But I'm not giving up on 'Hannah Montana' quite yet. I want people to watch my movies, but my music is something that I have always loved."
