MIDLER PLANS NEW YORK FARM

Legendary entertainer BETTE MIDLER is so dedicated to turning New York green, she's planning to build a farm in the middle of the Big Apple.
The actress/singer has dedicated a decade to the New York Restoration Project and has worked tirelessly to restore parks and community gardens in the city.
And she's now ready to go one step further and create her own farm
Midler reveals, "We're building a gigantic farm - all vegetables, all organic - and we're gonna sell (the produce) to restaurants."
