MIDDLETON CRITICISED FOR JOINING ROYAL HUNT

British royal PRINCE WILLIAM's girlfriend KATE MIDDLETON has been criticised by animal rights campaigners after she joined the British royals for a stag hunt in Scotland at the weekend. Pictures of the 25-year-old with the prince and his family at their Balmoral estate in Scotland on Saturday (13Oct07) have enraged the League Against Cruel Sports, because Middleton appeared to be enjoying the sport, which sees countryside animals killed. Barry Hugill, of the League Against Cruel Sports, says, "People who seem to get enormous pleasure from slaughtering animals always insist it's for their own good." However, it is unknown if Kate actively participated in the hunt. A Royal spokesman tells British newspaper The Sunday Mirror, "We don't comment on private matters."
