MICHELLE HEATON TO TACKLE COLDPLAY SONG

Former LIBERTY X star MICHELLE HEATON has chosen to tackle one of COLDPLAY's hits for her debut solo single.

The songstress has opted to release a version of the hit single TALK, after ex-BOYZONE member KEITH DUFFY persuaded her to donate all the money from sales to the charity Irish Autism Action, of which he is an ambassador, reports the Mirror.

Michelle has a tough challenge ahead of her, as the COLDPLAY version reached the top ten in 2005.

Speaking to the newspaper, Michelle states: "I'm very nervous as I have never sung solo. I've only ever recorded with the rest of Liberty X. But Keith has a lot of faith in me and I'm not going to let him down."

The charity is a cause close to Keith's heart as his daughter Mia is autistic.

He told the newspaper that the song lyrics, which were penned by CHRIS MARTIN, lend themselves to highlighting the struggles of families with autistic children well.

Meanwhile, COLDPLAY have released the tracklisting for their forthcoming album VIVA LA VIDA.

They posted the names of ten tracks on their website, including VIOLET HILL, STRAWBERRY SWING and LOST, reports NME magazine.
