MICHELE SCORES NEW U.S. CHART LOW AT THE TOP
R&B sensation CHRISETTE MICHELE has scored her first number one on the U.S. album charts after debuting EPIPHANY at the top of the Billboard 200 countdown.
But the singer's moment of glory has been wrecked by a sad fact - with just 83,000 sales, it's the lowest sum for a number one album in chart compilers Nielsen SoundScan's 18-year history.
But it was enough to keep the Hannah Montana: the Movie soundtrack and Ciara's third album Fantasy Ride off the top of the charts. Those two albums sit at two and three respectively.
Rascal Flatts' Unstoppable and last week's chart-topper, Bob Dylan's Together Through Life, round out the new top five.
