MICHEL SUED BY HOMELESS

Former FUGEES star PRAS MICHEL is facing a lawsuit from three homeless people who claim they were dehumanised in the rapper's 2007 documentary SKID ROW.
The Ghetto Superstar hitmaker took to the streets of downtown Los Angeles in 2006 and lived the life of a vagrant for nine-days to document the lives of the homeless.
Michel and a film crew allegedly went undercover, disguised themselves as transients and used hidden cameras to document their experience.
The footage was used in his 2007 docu-film Skid Row.
However, three of the homeless people featured in the project allege Michel's filming increased the "dehumanization and sadness" of their situations at the time.
Michelle Hassan, Wesley Bolden and Terrell Brown also claim that despite living on the streets, they still wanted to "shield their families...from the dire nature of their circumstances" in a suit filed at Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday (13Mar09).
The trio are seeking profits from the documentary as well as a declaration that they never agreed for their images to be used in the footage.
