MICHAELS KNEW BAD LUCK WOULD COME BACK TO HAUNT HIM AT TONYS

Rocker BRET MICHAELS had a premonition his TONY AWARDS appearance would end in tears - because he has never had much luck at prizegiving ceremonies.
The Poison star was almost knocked out by scenery at the event on 7 June (09) and now admits he was thanking his lucky stars for a successful opening performance when he was hit.
Michaels suffered a fractured nose and a cut lip and recalls telling a publication before the Tonys that he feared the evening would not be a smooth one.
He says, "We have never had good luck at any awards show... and I was quoted (as saying), 'I'm positive something disastrous will happen.'
"The last thought as I was leaving (the stage), I'm like, 'This went well... This is incredible, I'm gonna go party, meet Anne Hathaway, who is hot.' I'm like, 'This is a good day.' I turn around and the next thing you know I'm picking pieces of my teeth up from the Tonys stage."
