MICHAELS' DRIVER IN DOUBLE CAR CRASH FATALITY
POISON star BRET MICHAELS' driver has been caught up in a fatal road crash drama after falling asleep at the wheel of a truck carrying the rocker's stage equipment.
Dennis Hernandez was driving through West Frankfort, Illinois when he lost control of his vehicle and hit an SUV and pick-up truck head-on on Friday (26Sep08), according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch newspaper.
Two people were killed in the accident and two others were left seriously injured, according to police reports.
Michaels, who was en route to Texas, was not onboard the truck when it crashed.
