MICHAEL JACKSON'S GLOVE AUCTIONED
Michael Jackson's famous jewel-encrusted white glove, which he wore when he married Debbie Rowe in 1996, has been sold at auction for $49,000.
Michael Jackson's white glove has sold for $49,000.
The famous jewel-encrusted accessory, which the late pop icon wore during his 1996 wedding to Debbie Rowe, was bought by Las Vegas Hard Rock curator Warwick Stone at an auction in Australia.
Warwick said: "Michael Jackson gave it to someone in public in Australia and most collectors of Michael Jackson memorabilia knew about this glove.
"I've got the chain that used to hang around Sid Vicious' neck, I've got one of Elvis's .357 magnums which he used to shoot TVs with."
The right-hand glove was the first of Michael's gloves to go on sale since his June 25 death, although three more are due to go under the hammer in America this year.
Meanwhile, designer Christian Audigier is to buy the Holmby Hills mansion in Los Angeles where Michael died.
He had initially wanted to convert it into a museum in honour of his close friend - the two had been working on a clothing line together - but has now reconsidered his original plan.
Instead, he will open the house every June to mark the 50-year-old pop star's death.
Christian said: "I can have the house in one month now. I get the keys two weeks from today."

It may have been one of MJ's gloves but the Original was placed with him. As
for the house I think that is so Great that he is going to have an open house
for MJ's memorial every June. If you want to do a Memorial for MJ think about
buying Neverland and turning it back into what MJ had done with it and open it
back up to under Privilaged children and keep his work going.
That would be a TRUE memorial to MJ. Keeping his true home alive. Putting
Neverland back to what MJ built it to be.
Taking the tanted feeling away and bringing the Happiness back to Neverland
would make MJ truly happy. RIP MJ I Love you with all my heart.
