LATEST: M.I.A has denied supporting terrorism militant group Tamil Tigers - insisting her music is the "voice of the civilian refugee."
The singer - who is the daughter of a militant Tamil Tiger activist - was accused of condoning the actions of the group by rapper De-Jon.
But the singer denies she supports any terror group, claiming, as "a Sri Lankan that fled war and bombings, my music is the voice of the civilian refugee."
