METCALFE ACCUSED OF TRASHING HOTEL ROOM

Former DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star JESSE METCALFE has been accused of trashing a hotel room in California - causing thousands of dollars worth of damage.
The actor hosted a party at his complementary suite at the Ivy Hotel in San Diego, California, on Thursday (15May08).
But the gathering reportedly got out of control and ended in the total devastation of the luxurious room - angering hotel staff.
A source tells New York gossip column PageSix, "There was major damage. His suite had cigarette burns in the furniture. There was food all over the walls and a broken door. All of the alcohol in the bar had been drunk. (Metcalfe) was asked to leave."
But a representative for the star has denied he was responsible for the damage, insisting , "He left his room, and (other people) made the mess."
