MESSING TO RECREATE CHANNING'S DOLLY

Former WILL + GRACE star DEBRA MESSING has filmed a tribute to CAROL CHANNING for the second season of her hit new show STARTER WIFE.
Messing recreates the funny lady's famous Hello Dolly routine from A Star Is Born, wearing a copycat red gown outfit, a Channing wig and replicas of the stage and screen great's famous eyelashes for the song-and-dance skit with her castmates.
The actress says, "It was amazing. The dress is a replica of the one Carol Channing wore on Broadway. It's spectacular.
"And you would be amazed at how many options there are for eyelashes... We had pictures of Carol all over the place. We were like, 'OK, how close can we make it?'"
