MENDES TAKES MUM BACK TO OLD CINEMA

Actress EVA MENDES served up a special treat to her mother at the premiere of her latest film THE SPIRIT - because it was at the cinema where she once worked.
The sexy Latina invited 15 members of her family to the screening at Hollywood's Mann's Chinese Theatre last month (Dec08) - and she admits her mother was as excited about the location as the film itself.
She explains, "My mother worked there on weekends... like, in the '80s when they wore these long, beautiful geisha gowns, and I would go with her.
"She worked at the gift shop and sometimes she'd work in the theatre.
"So taking her back the other night to where she used to be an employee, and taking her as my mother, my date... she's very proud."
