MEMORIES COME FLOODING BACK AS MCCARTNEY SITS ON LENNON STOOL
The fondest Beatles memories came flooding back for PAUL MCCARTNEY as he wrote tracks for his new album - because he composed songs on JOHN LENNON's old stool at the same old upright piano he played SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND hits on.
MCCartney realised he was sitting at his father's old piano, which he used to compose tracks for Memory Almost Full, as Sgt. Pepper took off.
And his piano stool was extra special too.
He says, "It's a little stool that my kids gave me, which was John's stool. They found it at an auction.
"I've got it sitting in front of my dad's old piano."
