Singer KATIE MELUA has vowed never to walk down the aisle - because she doesn't believe in marriage.
The Georgia-born star split from her longtime boyfriend, Kooks frontman Luke Pritchard, in 2005 and was last year (07) linked to female photographer Lara Bloom.
And the Closest Thing To Crazy hitmaker insists that even if she finds a new love, she will never wed.
She says, "I don't believe in marriage at all. I think it was invented for money and convenience. I'd like to believe in monogamy. But if I have children I am never going to read them stories about finding Prince Charming because they will grow up feeling disappointed."
