SPICE GIRLS star MELANIE CHISHOLM has been inspired to try for a baby after spending so much time with her bandmates and their children. The singer - who is the only Spice Girl to remain childless - is now keen to start a family with her long-term love Tom Starr because hanging out with her colleagues' offspring on the band's recent reunion tour has made her broody. She says, "Being backstage at the shows with the girls and all the kids made me think, 'Yeah I could be a good mum.' "I used to say giving them (the children) back was the best bit, but seriously all the girls are great mums... and they have given me the confidence to have a go." Bandmate Victoria Beckham is mother to Brooklyn, seven, Romeo, five, and Cruz, three; Melanie Brown has two daughters, Phoenix Chi, nine, and Angel Irish, one; Geri Halliwell gave birth to Bluebell Madonna in 2006; and Emma Bunton is mum to baby Beau, seven months.
