MEL B SIGNS UP AS DANCE CORRESPONDENT

SPICE GIRL MELANIE BROWN has landed her first post-tour gig - as a dancing queen. The British pop star has signed up to cover the new series of Dancing With The Stars as news show Access Hollywood's special correspondent. The singer, who competed in the last season of the dancing contest, will follow the fortunes of celebrity contestants like Shannon Elizabeth, Priscilla Presley, Steve Guttenberg and Marlee Matlin during the sixth season of the hit show, which debuts on 17 March (08). Mel B says, "I had such a wonderful experience on Dancing With The Stars last season and I'm looking forward to talking to all of this year's contestants about their journeys and experiences along the way and dropping in on all their rehearsals, but this time on the other side of the mic." The busy Brit also plans to record a solo album and launch her own fashion line now her commitments with the reformed Spice Girls have ended.
