MEGAMAN VERDICT PENDING
LATEST: The Old Bailey jury trying ex SO SOLID CREW frontman MEGAMAN for murder has retired to discuss its verdict. The rapper, real name DWAYNE VINCENT, is accused of aiding and abetting friend CARL MORGAN to shoot 24-year-old COLIN SCARLETT in Tooting, south London in 2004. Vincent, 27, from Barons Court, west London, denies the charge. The hip-hop star allegedly demanded the execution of Scarlett when he heard he had started seeing Morgan's ex-girlfriend. Morgan, 24, was found guilty of murdering Scarlett last year (05), but Vincent is standing trial for the third time due to "various technical and administrative reasons". JEREMY DONNE QC prosecuting lawyer told the court the issue was to ascertain whether Vincent was a party to the incident. Vincent slammed the suggestion as ridiculous, as he was a staunch campaigner against gun crime.
