MEESTER RECRUITS THICKE FOR DEBUT SINGLE

Soul singer ROBIN THICKE is giving actress LEIGHTON MEESTER's pop career a boost - he features on the GOSSIP GIRL star's debut solo single.
Meester has been busy recording songs for her first album, due out next year (10), and has already shown off her vocal talents on her recent duet with Cobra Starship, Good Girls Go Bad.
But she's brought another established act on board to improve her chances of rocketing up the charts - she's recruited the smooth Lost Without You hitmaker for Somebody to Love.
And Thicke reveals the song's video is sure to set pulses racing.
He tells the New York Post's gossip column PageSix, "She's extremely charming and seductive and sexy and the video is going to make a lot of people sweat."
