MEAT LOAF'S NERVES OVER HOUSE CAMEO

Rocker MEAT LOAF was terrified of appearing on U.S. TV series HOUSE - because he is such a big fan of the hit show.
The Bat out of Hell singer will appear in the Hugh Laurie medical drama on Monday (06Apr09) night, playing a patient who is dying of heart failure.
And the cameo role had Meat Loaf brushing up on his acting skills in a bid to impress the bosses of the show.
He says, "I was so excited and very nervous, I might add, because I love the show so much. If I didn't like the show so much and never had watched it, I probably wouldn't have been so nervous.
"I have been offered more TV shows than you even understand to (appear as myself), and I won't do it. My ideal situation is for people to watch House and not even know it's me."
