MEAT LOAF HIRED VOCAL COACH
Larger than life rocker MEAT LOAF recruited a vocal coach in a bid to improve his singing skills on his BAT OUT OF HELL III: THE MONSTER IS LOOSE album. The I'D DO ANYTHING FOR LOVE (BUT I WON'T DO THAT) star decided to expand his vocal talents after producer DESMOND CHILD - who is famed for his work with BON JOVI and AEROSMITH - demanded a new sound with less vibrato. Meat Loaf - real name MICHAEL ADAY - teamed up with Child because former collaborator JIM STEINMAN, who was the driving force behind the first two Bat Out Of Hell records, was ill. Aday and Steinman are currently embroiled in a legal dispute over ownership rights of the title Bat Out Of Hell.
