DEADWOOD star IAN MCSHANE is amazed he was allowed to get away with his wildman behaviour as a young man, because his former lifestyle would not be tolerated today. The 63-year-old SEXY BEAST describes his boozy and womanising past as "a bit of a male menopause" which lasted 27 years, and he credits his marriage to third wife GWEN HUMBLE in 1981 with saving his life and reputation.
