MCQUEEN'S FERRARI SELLS FOR $2.3 MILLION

Hollywood legend STEVE MCQUEEN's Ferrari 350 GT sports car has sold at auction for a staggering $2.3 million (GBP1.2 million). An anonymous bidder paid nearly double the estimated price at the auction at the Monterey Jet Center in California on Thursday (16Aug07). MCQueen bought the car in 1963 and owned it for 10 years.
