MCPHEE LANDS SANDLER ROLE

AMERICAN IDOL sweetheart KATHARINE MCPHEE is set to show off her comedy skills after signing on to star in a new ADAM SANDLER movie. The singer will join Lost In Translation star Anna Faris in the currently untitled comedy, which will be produced by Sandler's Happy Madison Productions. According to website EW.com, Faris will play a Playboy bunny who becomes an unlikely "den mother" to a group of sorority girls at a college. MCPhee will play one of the girls. It won't be MCPhee's first film role - she appears in new movie Crazy.
