MCMAHON TO GIVE DEPOSITION FROM HOSPITAL

U.S. TV icon ED MCMAHON is set to give evidence in his legal case against a Los Angeles medical facility - from his hospital bed.
MCMahon is suing Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after they misdiagnosed a broken neck in 2007.
The beloved former The Tonight Show sidekick is currently in an intensive care unit as he battles both bone cancer and pneumonia.
But lawyers for Cedars-Sinai have called for MCMahon to record a deposition - and if the star fails to do so, the case could be thrown out of court.
The 85 year old's lawyer has agreed to the request - but only if it is taken from the star's bedside at UCLA Medical Center, reports TMZ.com.
A letter from MCMahon's lawyer states, "He (MCMahon) is not able to leave his hospital bed. Please suggest appropriate dates next week. Please be advised that Ed remains in ICU so medical precautions will be necessary at the direction of the attending UCLA staff."
