MCMAHON ORDERED TO PAY $180,000 UNPAID DEBTS

U.S. TV icon ED MCMAHON has been ordered to pay Citibank $180,000 (GBP120,000) for debts built up over the last four years.
The beloved former The Tonight Show sidekick was sued by the financial organisation in June 2008.
MCMahon reportedly failed to respond to the bank's demands for repayment.
Santa Monica's Judge John H. Reid ended the case on Thursday (15Jan09) and demanded that the ageing star repay the loans.
MCMahon has faced a series of financial woes over the course of 2008; he fell behind on mortgage payments on his Los Angeles home to the sum of $644,000 (GBP429,000), and was slapped with a lawsuit by a Beverly Hills pharmacy who claim he owed two years of unpaid subscriptions.
