MCGREGOR PLANS HIS NEXT CHALLENGE BEFORE HE COMPLETES AFRICA TRIP
Actor EWAN MCGREGOR has plans for a third cross-continent motorcycle trip - just days after he embarked on his latest adventure from Scotland to South Africa.
The Scottish star completed his first road trip from London to New York - dubbed the Long Way Round - in 2004 with his actor pal Charley Boorman, and they are currently riding through Egypt as part of their three-month African adventure, which is being filmed for the BBC.
And with several thousand miles still to go before they reach their final destination, the pair have already decided upon their next challenge.
MCGregor says, "I think we both decided that there was two big obvious trips left after we'd done the London to New York trip - Long Way Round.
"We looked at a world map and we thought that there was the Africa trip, and then the South to North America trip. So we both decided to do the Africa trip first."
