MCFLY VOW TO STOP RECORDING COVERS

British boyband MCFLY have vowed to stop recording cover versions of other artists' songs - because they would prefer to write and perform their own tracks. The pop group have covered Queen's Don't Stop Me Now and Pinball Wizard by The Who, among others, but drummer Harry Judd insists the band will now only produce new material. He says, "We don't like doing covers, it's the powers that be that like doing covers. "We've enjoyed doing the covers we recorded and performed so far, but often it has not been our choice to do them. We're looking forward to making some songs of our own again."
