MCFLY TO BE HEARD IN SPACE

British boy band MCFLY's music is to be beamed into space for astronauts at the International Space Station to enjoy.
The group's 2006 hit song Star Girl will be played on Wednesday (21Oct09) after fans of the group bombarded NASA chiefs with pleas to play the track.
The agency offered to let 35 lucky people speak to the astronauts in outer space circling the earth, causing a host of MCFly admirers to pressure bosses to play the hit.
Star Girl will be played to the astronauts as part of the event.
