MCENTIRE TO PLAY FOR SICK COACH
Country star REBA MCENTIRE will join the man who discovered her to help raise funds for a sick high school wrestling coach.
The singer and her mentor Red Steagall will perform a concert together in Illinois on 21 March (09) and all the proceeds will benefit the Teachers, Coaches and Students Foundation, which was created by former students of Coach Richard Carlini to pay for his medical expenses.
The Des Plaines, Illinois coach suffers from AVM (arteriovenous malformation).
Steagall, a friend of Carlini, discovered MCEntire when she performed the national anthem at the National Finals Rodeo in 1974.
