MCENTIRE POKES FUN AT SPEARS + HILTON
REBA MCENTIRE dropped her nice-lady persona to take a stab at BRITNEY SPEARS and PARIS HILTON at the Academy of Country Music Awards last night (15May07).
The flame-haired country singer, who was hosting the Las Vegas ceremony, showed she has a knack for comedy when she served up barbs at the troubled stars' expense.
She poked fun at Spears' new bald look, joking, "I just got word that Britney Spears has formed a new country group - it's called Rascal Flat-Top."
But it was her Paris gag that left some audience members taking a sharp intake of breath.
She joked, "She's had a rough time lately; she lost her dog, lost her man, got drunk and now she's going to jail. Let's just face it, she's living a country song."

I have to say I love Reba. She is real. Oprah used to be my favorite show,
now that Reba comes on at 3:30, I am missing after of Oprah.
This is the first time I have commented on a TV show or any star.
As far as Reba's comments go on Paris, she's right on the money. Will be
looking for a song.
