MCCREADY HOSPITALISED AFTER ALLEGED SUICIDE ATTEMPT

Troubled country singer MINDY MCCREADY has been hospitalised after an alleged suicide attempt, according to new reports.
MCCready, 33, was taken to a hospital in the Nashville, Tennessee area for "treatment of wounds to her wrists" after police were called to a nearby house on Wednesday (17Dec08) morning, police spokeswoman Kris Mumford has confirmed.
Mumford adds, "We responded to a '10-63,' that's a suicidal person call. Mindy MCCready was at the house. Apparently she called the mother of her roommate and said some things that caused the mother concern. She called authorities. We responded with paramedics, who took her to a local hospital."
The singer has endured a series of personal struggles in recent years.
In April (08), she admitted to conducting a long-term affair with New York Yankees baseball star Roger Clemens.
MCCready was then arrested in June (08) for violating her probation for prescription drug fraud.
She also checked into rehab in July (08) with some reports suggesting she had swallowed a lethal combination of vodka and prescription drug Ambien, used to treat insomnia.
