MCCREADY ARRESTED FOR VIOLATING 2004 PROBATION

LATEST: Country singer MINDY MCCREADY was taken into police custody at an airport in Tennessee on Wednesday (25Jul07), after she was found to be in violation of her 2004 probation. Authorities issued a warrant for her arrest early on Wednesday, following the troubled star's run in with police in Florida, where she was charged for domestic battery and resisting arrest in an incident involving her mother in North Fort Myers. The charges came just hours after she was bailed for a driving conviction on Saturday (21Jul07). MCCready's latest offence - for which she was arrested at Nashville International Airport - is in relation to her previous conviction for prescription drug fraud in 2004, where she was ordered to stay out of trouble and serve three years probation, reports TMZ.com. Her legal woes in Florida meant she violated the terms of her probation - of which she had just four months to go.
