MCCARTNEY WEIGHS IN ON JACKSON'S WOES

SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY has blamed MICHAEL JACKSON's father JOE for the personal anguish the superstar battled in his adult years.
Fans were stunned upon learning the King Of Pop had suffered a fatal cardiac arrest on 25 June (09).
Rumours about his tragic passing have swirled ever since, with some reports suggesting the singer had turned to painkillers to battle depression - and that those prescription drugs contributed to his untimely demise.
And MCCartney, who collaborated with Jackson in the 1980s, believes the star's internal demons stemmed from his troubled relationship with his father, Joe.
He says, "I don’t want to judge but I do think that (father/son relationship) contributed to some of the problems Michael might have had.”
The Thriller singer had openly discussed his childhood abuse, claiming his father used to beat him and his siblings.
