MCCARTNEY PLANS FAREWELL WORLD TOUR
SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY will reportedly bid farewell to fans with a 100-date world tour before going into semi-retirement.
The former Beatle will stage the shows over two years before stepping out of the limelight to spend more time with his family.
MCCartney, 65, recently performed a homecoming gig in Liverpool, England, the current European Capital of Culture.
A source tells British newspaper the Sunday Mirror, "Paul explained that this tour will be the last big one. He wants to settle down and enjoy Beatrice's childhood.
"The tour will be the last time he performs in many parts of the world. Beatrice and his family life are going to come first.
"He does not want to be away for months at a time."
MCCartney has four grown up children from his marriage to Linda MCCartney; biological children Mary, 38, Stella, 36, James, 30 and adopted daughter Heather, 45, who is Linda's daughter by her first husband, and Beatrice, four, from his marriage to Heather Mills.

It is a pity that Paul has decided to stop his world tours. But on the other hand,
he deserves a quiet family life after having worked so hard for so many years. We
won´t enjoy his tours no more but his music will last for ever around the world and
in our hearts. He has left a wonderful music legacy not only for those who still
enjoy his music but for coming generations.
we will all mis you.
