MCCARTNEY FEELS 'BLESSED' TO HAVE KNOWN LENNON
SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY rarely remembers his disagreements with late BEATLES bandmate JOHN LENNON - he just feels blessed to have known the murdered musician.
MCCartney and Lennon had a tumultuous relationship during the legendary group's later years, with their arguing often blamed for the band's eventual split in 1970.
They reconciled later that decade before Lennon's shocking murder in New York in 1980 - and MCCartney admits he never thinks about the bad times with his late bandmate.
He tells U.S. news show Entertainment Tonight, "What I do is I look for the positive side... I'm the only guy who sat down with John and wrote all those songs. It's me. (I've) got to pinch myself, I can't believe it. I just feel blessed to have known him and to have experienced his presence so intimately."
