MCCARTNEY DENIES STARR REUNION
SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY has denied he will reunite with his former BEATLE bandmate RINGO STARR at an upcoming homecoming gig.
The pair was rumoured to be reuniting during MCCartney's performance at the Capital of Culture concert in their native Liverpool this Saturday (31May08).
But MCCartney insists Starr will not be joining him onstage, saying, "That was never going to be on the cards."
Instead, MCCartney will reportedly collaborate with the Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl. Other bands due to play at the event include the Kaiser Chiefs and the Zutons.
