MCCARTHY BEGGED GOD TO TAKE STRUGGLING SON'S LIFE

JENNY MCCARTHY grew so desperate at the height of her son's autism battle she pleaded with God to let him die peacefully.
The model-turned-actress' son Evan, who is now seven, was diagnosed with autism when he was two after suffering a series of seizures and coming perilously close to death.
And, after one seven-hour seizure in 2004, MCCarthy begged for a permanent end to her son's life.
She tells the upcoming issue of parenting magazine Cookie, "I ran out of my house and into my driveway and screamed at the top of my lungs to God to just take him away, because I loved him so much and he was in so much pain."
