MCCAIN ISN'T A HERO TO THE FOO FIGHTERS

Rockers the FOO FIGHTERS have become the latest act to take aim at U.S. presidential candidate JOHN MCCAIN for using one of their songs at his rallies.
A month after Jackson Browne filed suit against the MCCain campaign for using his song Running on Empty without consent, Dave Grohl's Foo Fighters are now upset the Republican's marketing strategists have adopted their My Hero at pre-election stops without permission.
Grohl states, "It's frustrating and infuriating that someone who claims to speak for the American people would repeatedly show such little respect for creativity and intellectual property.
"The saddest thing about this is that My Hero was written as a celebration of the common man and his extraordinary potential. To have it appropriated without our knowledge and used in a manner that perverts the original sentiment of the lyric just tarnishes the song."
