MCAVOY'S WHITAKER OSCAR PREMONITION
JAMES MCAVOY knew FOREST WHITAKER would scoop the Best Actor Oscar for THE LAST KING OF SCOTLAND as soon as cameras started rolling on the film.
The Scottish star was blown away by Whitaker's performance as Ugandan dictator IDI AMIN.
He says, "You never dare to hope that it will be excessively successful, but while we were making it I could tell that Forest was giving a remarkable performance."
