MCADAMS LOVES THE SINGLE LIFE

Actress RACHEL MCADAMS is loving life as a single woman following her split from RYAN GOSLING - insisting she has learned to value her "independence".
MCAdams and Gosling first got together after meeting on the set of their 2004 film The Notebook, but split for good in November (08) after a four month reunion.
The 30-year-old star was recently linked to actor Josh Lucas, but MCAdams reveals she is still single - and happy to be on her own.
She says, "I'm loving my independence. I think it is important for a woman to be alone for a year or so. You need to learn who you are."
