MAXWELL'S LIFE TO HIT THE BIG SCREEN
The life of late media mogul ROBERT MAXWELL is heading for the big screen. AMERICAN PSYCHO producer EDWARD R PRESSMAN is adapting the London stage play about the Slovakian-born tycoon, LIES HAVE BEEN TOLD. Pressman enthuses, "Maxwell's story is CITIZEN KANE meets Wall Street." Maxwell died in mysterious circumstances in November 1991 when his body was found floating in the Atlantic Ocean, where he had previously been touring on his luxury yacht. After his death, it was revealed Maxwell had been stealing from his employees' pension fund to aid his media empire's debts.
