MAXWELL BURNED OUT

Soul star MAXWELL walked away from music in 2001 because he was exhausted and "burned out".
The singer topped the charts back in 2001 with album Now, and then quit.
Eight years on, he is refreshed and recharged and preparing for the release of a new record called Blacksummer'snight, his first disc in eight years.
Maxwell tells Us Weekly, "You can't make the best music when you are burned out. So I took a break to recalibrate my system, write and travel."
