MAXIMO PARK URGE FANS TO AVOID TICKET 'RIP-OFF'

British rockers MAXIMO PARK are urging their fans not to buy tickets for their forthcoming benefit concert from secondary sellers - insisting many websites are looking make a profit out of their charity appearance.
The band are set to play a special gig in London on 28 May (08) in aid of the cancer unit at the city's Royal Marsden Hospital - which was ravaged by fire earlier this year (08).
And tickets for the gig have since turned up on unofficial websites, which are selling them on for an inflated price - prompting the band to urge music lovers to avoid giving their money to unaffiliated companies.
A statement from the group reads, "We are all disappointed to see these tickets pop up on secondary ticket sites for an inflated fee.
"Please don't buy these tickets. We work hard to keep our ticket cost as low as possible and never like to see people pay more than the slated price, especially when it's for such a worthy cause and people are profiting from it."
